Approved For Release 2000/08/29 : CIA-RDP78-04861A000300050002-4 From RADIO NO.12 1953 p.14 ENVSURING SUPPLY of CaONIInS TO RADIO A! LP 3DRS Many letters reach the editors of "Radio" from readers with Justified complaints about the lack of necessary components and materials in the retail network. Notwithstanding the rapid development of the radio industry and the great increase in the output of radio products, the number of radio components in the retail network and the selection of these is not satisfying the demands of radio amateurs. The retail organisations are also to blame for the poor supplies. In publishing below a number of these letters the Editor,, await information from the Ministry of Trade USSR and the Ministry of Electric Power Stations and the Electrical Industry about steps for the increase of output and improvement of retail distribution of radio components. ibid p.24. SPECIAL C n:3LVING VALVES The computing circuits considered above are historically the logical result of solution of the problem of computing on the basis of normal electronic valves, but they are not the only solution. Soviet engineers have developed a number of circuits with gas filled valves. The most important of these, in view of economy and small dimensions are circuits using heaterless thyratrons, worked out by Z.N. K(RABLEV.
