The Russian language is for the first time referred to as "a voluntarily selected medium" of eosunication .mong the several Soviet Republics, as a language capable of "enriching" the non- Russian dialects-of the USSR. An opinion expressed in RADYANSICA UKRAINA in this connection is that the development of the Ukrainian language should follow a closer syntactical parallel to the Ruraian. A decision of the Ukrainian Party's Central Committee on the state of the Republic points out among other things that the leading role of the Communist Party and the Great Russian people in the life of the country does not get the deserved attention in the Ukrainian press and lecture propaganda. The points stressed in the output on Party activities are, a) the fight against corruption, euphemistically referred to as "truthfulness and honesty to the Party," b) intensified propagation of Stalin's article on the economic problems of Socialism and the 19th Party Congress documents and e) a higher level of political and ideological propaganda among the masses and within the Party.
