Approved For Release 2002/09/04: CIA-RDP78-04914A000100090033-9 Approved For Release 2002/09/04: CIA-RDP78-04914A000100090033-9 Approved For Release 2002/09/04: CIA-RDP78-04914AOO1 Agreement for Transfer and Operation of the State Department Printing Plant Located at 2430 L Street, Northwest No-ember 27, 1946 The 1lepartn:ent of State, the Central Intelligence Group, and the Government Printing Office hereby agree that the State Department printing plant located at 2430 L d'treet, Northwest, shall be transferred to and operated by the Government Printing Office, under the authority of 44 U.S.C. 60, subject to the following stipulations: 1. A Policy Committee of three will be established under the chairmanship of the State Department, and shall consist of representatives of the State Department, the Central Intelligence Group, and the Government Printing Office. This Policy Committee will prescribe regulations dealing with : a. Priority of work to be produced b. Physical and personnel security of the plant c. Any other matters of subst:-?.ntial interest to the Department of Stare, the Central Intelligence Group, or the Government Printing Office in connection with -the operation of the plant. 2. The plant will be retained in its :present location at 2430 L Street, Northwest, subject to such space ad just- raents as ray be agreed upon b the Policy Coin; ittee. 3. The :Iovernmm:e,nt r"rintin, Office will review the findings and recomrendations of the "Report on Survey of State Department Printing and Reproduction Plant" dated November 12, 1946, prepared jointly by representatives of the bta e .Department, the uureau of the Bud ;et and the Go- erninent Printing,, Office. As a result of this review, s.oecific lists of personnel, material, and equipment to be t.-ansferr-ed will be prepared and submitted to the Policy Committee for concurrence. 4.
