Paragraph 1, Section III, Administration and Management Operating
Procedure #1 (Budget and. Finance) dated 7 January 1948, is amended by adding
sub-parappraph f thereto as follows:
f. (1) The use of roomettes aboard trains may be authorized in
travel orders
of Operations,
(a) The employee traveling has in his custody official
papers classified as SECRET or above and sleeping accommodations
are necessary while traveling;
(b) The employee has in his custody classified documents of
such hulk and weight that they cannot be carried on his person.
(2) The use of extra-fare trains and planes for security pur-
poses will not be authorized.
(3) Full justification must be included on travel vouchers
when roomettes are authorized.
