SUBJECT: South East Asia Pictorial Briefing
1. We plan to show slides taken by the ORD Field 25X1
Liaison Officer while assigned to the as
the Resident Scientific Officer and to MACV as a consultant
to the Military Assistance Command's Science Advisor's
Office.
2. The slides will be shown twice. Once on the
7th and again on the 11th of April, starting at 1330
in room 607. We plan a free ranging discussion of
problem areas and hope to generate some new ideas.
3. The slides include aerial and ground shots of
terrain in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and all 4 Corps areas
of South Vietnam, river traffic, VC staging, infiltration,
and commo-liaison stations, secret roads, tunnels, caves,
bunkers, Montagnard boons, Vietnamese hamlets, rice paddys,
rubber and tea plantations, U.S. airfields, forward
observation posts, isolated Green Beret camps, guerilla
training centers, etc.
