Approved For ReleasDP78-05077A(100020002-9 MEMORANDUM FOR: SUBJECT Director of Medical Services Financial Program Status Report, ## 2, FY 1974 REFERENCE My memo, dtd 29 November 1973, same subject 1. Attached is a summarized Financial Status Report for the period 1 July - 30 November 1973. 2. A straight line projection of the rate of obliga- tions for the five month period is normally 41.65%. However, based on the knowledge that some OMS components would not obligate on a straight line basis, certain adjustments to the obligation rate were made. These adjustments result in a projected obligation rate of 39.91% for the five month period. As you will see from the report our actual rate is 39.24% or a deviation of .67%. This equates to - underobligated. 25X1A As you will note this is close to the figure reflected in the official Deviation Report, a copy of which is also attached. This modest deviation is certainly within allowable limits and should be of no concern at this moment. 3. I continue to be concerned with the rate of obli- gations for Travel and Other Services and if the present rate continues, this should be a matter for discussion in our normal six months Budgetary review in January. 25X1A Deputy Chief, Support Division Office of Medical Services Approved For Release 199,E ,"t 0&6 VS ECT TO L EtA OF E.
