MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Administration
SUBJECT : Weekly Report
1. SKYLINK: The secure voice portion of SKYLINK was declared
operationaT: MLINK stations have been advised by cable. Head-
quarters notices are in preparation to advise others and
has been advised by memorandum.
2. ARS: Pre-acceptance testing is 60 percent complete.
3. II DCI Support: A VHF radio phone installation was made
in General Walters new vehicle.
4. DCA Liaison: The U/CO and DD/CO met with Lt. General
Paschall, the new" 5Trector of DCA. Mutual concerns of Government
Voice Security
were discussed. It appears that we may be able to achieve better
communication between our Agencies on these problems as a result
of the visit.
5. Lon Distance Telephone. As a result of the increased
numbers o c ace -to West Coast, an additional MATS
line has been installed. Also, the operators were provided with
Touch-tone dialing which has increased their efficiency and
enabled them to cope with the larger workload.

6. Four of the communicators were replaced
because of the tension and pressures under w~ ch they have been
working and living. The fifth OC man will be replaced. on August
30th.
