SUBJECT : Weekly Report of Significant Activities

As requested, following is a report of significant
activities for this office for the preceding week.
1. Director of Medical Services, Deputy Director
of Medical Services and Chief, Psychiatric Staff met 11
April with the Director of Scientific Intelligence and
members of his staff to discuss the programming of require-
ments This was an initial explora-
tory m meeting will be held in the
very near future.
2. D/MS and C/PS on 10 April addressed they
D/MS spoke on "Field Medical ro e
an perat ona pplications of Medicine." C/PS spoke on
applied psychiatry as related to OMS operational support
activities.
3. Also on 10 April, D/MS, DD/MS, Chief, Clinical
Division, and Chief, Selection Processing Division visited
the X-ray Department of the Arlington Hospital to become
acquainted with new techniques and developments in radiology
and their potential applica MS clinical activities.
This department is headed by
consultant.
4. Chief, Support Division and the OMS
Training Officer attended the Personnel Practices
Symposium conducted by t e Office of Personnel 9-10 April.
Chief, Psychiatric Staff also spoke at this symposium on
counseling available in the Psychiatric Staff.

SUBJECT: Weekly Report of Significant: Activities
with a group of US attaches being trained in a special
class by the SB Division.
6. On 10 April discussed medical and 25X1.A
psychological aspects o adjustment to life abroad with
Agency personnel and dependents in the Overseas Orienta-
tion Program.
7. The OMS Medical Systems Development Officer
spent the morning of 4 April at the National Institutes
of Health in his continuing support of their program of
contract proposal reviews relating to the NIH Employee
Health Services Program.
8. Psychological Services Staff activities:
a. Chief, Research Branch on 25X1A
S April met with officials of Pe Spec a Study
Group/DDI to discuss their request for RB/PSS
support in the human factors area.
b. on 9 April met with officials
of the Office o, - Research and Development and
the National Photographic Interpretation Center
to discuss RB/PSS participation in an exploratory
program to develop methods and procedures for
extracting certain types of economic information
for overhead photography. RB/PSS will provide data
analysis support to this program.

RMOts. He also plans to visit the centers in
