1. In connection with your :nerno of 23 December to D /Pub on
above subject, it is a little late to suggest that it would be very irresponsible
to print this section before a number of basic factors are weighed. It is
already printed and ready to go. Your questions should have been raised
at the page proof stage as the proofs indicated clearly the color scheme
for these charts. To withdraw the pages now for a reprint job would only
increase the cost and delay distribution which I do not think is warranted.
2. Whether the color charts are to be continued or not can be
determined upon KAK's return. In any event, I can see no earthshaking
consequences of puttin out this section with the charts "as is. " I have,
therefore, instructed to proceed accordingly.
