He stated that at the st znee iag df the ?CB r. ~?teipe had pointed out that di.~ring the preparation of the NIB. which s sc eduled far submission to this Office by 3 February, most of the knowledgable people on the Antarctic Area project would be in the Antarctic Area with return scheduled far about 1 March 1956. Mr. Steipel expressed the view that it would be highly desirable to have the NIS manuscript reviewed by same of these knowledgable people before it went into final print, and his first suggestion was that it might be possible to withhold publication until their return, and that they then be given the opportunity to examine the manuscript. said that he pointed out that the deadline was set for i ~'e ruary and that he was sure that it was the intention of C)BI to publish it just ae soon as possible thereafter. 2.
