Fiscal year 1958; submitted to The Comptroller through
Assistant to the DD/I (Administration) on 1Tune 1956
1. A meeting was held this date in the Comptroller's office
on'a'Y '57 Operating Budget and the FY '58 Preliminary Estimates
(see reference above) submitted by OBI. Present at the hearing

2. Questions on the OBI budget submission concerned chiefly
the budgetary implications of the Wristonization Program in State;
production natters generally, including the maintenance program
and 0SI production of Sections 45; OBI overtime policy; OBI personnel
needs in FY '58; and the transfer of paper stock costa from the 06
to the 08 account.
3- At the hearing's end, A4r. Saunders indicated his approval
of CBI's budget as submitted. Final approval with regard to both
money and personnel must, of course, come from the DCI.
