REFERENCE: NIS Committee Meeting No. 192 held o .-f

1. Your attention is directed to the decision of the NIS
Committee at the reference meeting authorizing destruction of
the subject study upon publication of the superseding NIS 26 (USSR),
Chapter I (Brief).
2. The SIEt, USSR. consists of s three volume publication
dated March 1948. Copies numbered 53 through 162 of Volumes I, II,
and III were disseminated to: Chief, Acquisition and Distribution
Division, Collection and Dissemination, Department of State, on
28, 26, and 27 April 1948. respectively.
3. It is requested that you effect notification to all holders
of SID. USSR, in your area of dissemination that subject study has
been superseded and may be destroyed.
