SUBJECT: The National Intelligence Survey Program -
Joint Chiefs of Staff Requirements
and Statement of Priorities
1. The attached is transmitted for information to the
NIS producing components of your Office. It reflects com-
prehensive survey of the military establishment with respect
to the NIS program and sets forth priorities. Enclosure "A"
refers to topical priorities by world areas. The Appendix to
Enclosure "A" contains the priority code. Enclosure "B" is
the revised JCS Priorities for the NIS areas world-wide.
2. This matter is currently before the NIS Committee
for implementation.
