2. Attachments 5 through 8 represent lists which were hand carried to for
immediate procurement since they were items critically needed by the con rac or
to proceed with the construction without further delay. These list sled
from "tak it the Title 2 inspector at the request of the ocure i
Officer, when it was first realized that the original s gs
did not include ~' to install workable systems. These lists
were reviewed b ho concurred in their procurement. Some of
the items would have been originally needed, but were not included in the priginal
GFM listings. According to the.procurmment officer - the U.S. Governement
is responsible for supplying items not included in the original specifications if
they are of a type that the U.S. Government would normally include in GFM.
3. Attachments 2, 3 and 4 were also hand carried to _ for immediate order since
again we were at the point of holding up the contractor in his construction.
Attachments 3 and 4 were compiled by the Title 2 Inspector and reviewed by the
Assistant FE Engineer. Atachment Ii. was made up for the same reasons listed in
paragraphs 1 and 2 above, while attachment 3 was compiled because no provisions
were made during the original planning for the actual installation of a fuel oil
piping system. Attachments #2 is a listing of GFM items that were actually never

Item #3 was ordered from the United States and is supposedly enroute.
Items 6 through 1 pparently never ordered. Specifications are
being forwarded t Station for immediate procurement and delivery.
(See -, date 9 September 1963).
e. Item #12 is enroute from the United States.
f. Items 13 through 23 arrived. without the lamps indicated, plus 5 type N
25X1A fixtures missing. The fixtures have been reordered through _ and
the lamps are being procured through channels.
g. Items #24 was a reorder since the hook hinges sent with the original
5X1A GFM turned out to be padlock hasps and cannot be used to hang screen
windows. The hasps are being returned to per their verbal request.
h. Item #25 was ordered since it represents that portion of sewer line
which eventually will be laid in the area of any proposed wing addition,
now or in the future. This will eliminate having to replace any sewer line.
5. Attachment # 1 lists a panel board obviously ordered and received in error.
X1A However, the title 2 inspector and the Assistant FE Engineer concur that it
still can be used by mounting the necessary circuit breakers in the available
spaces for spares. The FE Engineer stated he would inform and request
that the technicians procure and deliver these two circuit breakers whenever
they visit the site to install the equipment contigned to the counterpoise
building.
6. Addressees: Please disregard the notations on the attachments, since these
were the only copies available and were used for inventory purposes.
