In order to facilitate the rotation of such employees, it is proposed that the following policies be adapted to protect their privileged pey statues a4 Employees rotated liras scientific or engineering jobs to other mama positions will be so rssuined without reduction in pgy if promoted while on rotational asdgrmsnt, will continue to receive the advantage of the advanced rates autharised for scientific and engineering personnel. b. As a mem of controlling the application of this exception, the total number of employees in a Career Service who are receiving the advanced rates while on rotational assignment may no exceed leg of the total scientific and engineering positions in that Career Service. Also, the rotational assignment at such employees could not exceed any single period of three years mar an aggregate of three years in a. total of nine years. G.
