II. +L7i'HRR ITNIId Plans 25X1A9a as The CI Staff reported that there were 34 applicants for the fifteen vacancies in the next running of the Counterespionage Operations Course. Because of this demands permission was given by the Director of Training to accelerate the schedule and to add another running of the course before the summer recess. b. As groundwork for the proposed MICE Familiarisation course, is in the process of heaving sessions with a few people in DD P branch,, division, and. CI Staff) who work directly in the CS field and are consequently alert to practical training needs. C. Counterespionage Operations Course No. 11 began on 13 May 1957 . with a full complement of fifteen students representing four area divisions, the C1 Statff, the Office of Training, and the Security Office. FN with five and WZ with four students have the strongest representation in this course. The grades of the students range frcaa 05-7 to CS-15. Ten students area at the 06-12 or lower level. d. The eleventh running of the Cable Refresher course for Clandestine Services headquarters personnel held on 15 May was attended by 55 students. Sixty-four students were registered.
