a. Special Project with one trainee for.EF~
commenced Tuesday, 2 April. Trainee is a-citizen of
origin who has been used for the past two years by -,*'.E
Division as a member of a field surveillance team. The Division
now plans to use him as a principle agent operating under deep
cover. An instructor's briefing regarding this project was
held on Thursday, 28 March.
b. Special Project with one trainee also
commenced Tuesda r 2 April. The student is a
plan to use a :E have potential as W gents. The training program has been
planned to place emphasis on this type of activity. An instructor's
briefing regarding this project was held on Monday, 1 April.
OTHER ACTIVITIES

are continuing on schedule.

d. Two projects, one for WH and one for FE which had been
scheduled for April have been cancelled for the time being by
their respective divisions.
e. A special. training program. commenced on
Monday, 1 April. The trainee is an American contract agent who 25X1A6a
for cover reasons could not be trained in Headquarters.
The trainee will be available for one week at this time and a second 25X1A9a
