A memorandum was prepared for DTR'a signature concern-
ing the Army's desire to send copies of the Tradecraft
Guide to certain of its overseas ersonnel. OTRas memo,

TRAINING MATERIALS IN PREPARATION:
a. Caching Guides On June 28 and

draft of the Caching Guide. They are satisfied with
the basic approach, but have provided a wealth of
technical information not available at Headquarters.

the FI Training Officer for forwarding to the Army,
in partial fulfilment of an Army request for material
used in the January-March 1957 Covert Training course
attended by two Army officers. The memorandum of trans-
mittal pointed out that the major portion of the
materials requested was covered in the Tradecraft
Guide, 50 copies of which have already gone to the
