d. CC/OS met with Mr. of the A & E Staff on
Monday, 22 July. Mr. has been detailed to the Covert
Training Unit to assist in the evaluation procedures presently
in use, to observe methods of instruction and the use of "live"
-problems and to make recommendations in an effort to improve our
capabilities. was given a briefing on the organization
of the Covert Unit, how a case originates, how it is handled and
the final evaluation submitted on the trainee. He had an opportunity
to review a few training files and will report to us on detail
on Tuesday, 30 July 1957.
