23 January to 29 January 1957
REGULAR PROGRAMS
1. JFSO Briefing: This program was conducted for twenty-three
Junior Foreign Service Officers on 23 January. Accompanying the
students was Mr. Hyman Bloom, Assistant Course Chairman. As usual,
this audience was interesting and interested. The briefing lasted
three and one-half hours and included several question periods.
2. CIA Review: This program was held on Thursday, 24 January,
for overseas returnees.

3. CIA Introductions On Monday, 28 January, people
attended this program.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Last Thursday, 24 January, I went to see
C/JOTP, to discuss a proposal which he had to make relative to the
briefing of the wives of JOT''. He had cleared the proposal with
AC/IS and wanted to check with me as to the feasibility of the plan. 25X1
2. I like the idea and think that we could put on something
good that would benefit the JOT Program and the Agency. The time
will probably come when there will be a briefing for all Agency
wives as their husbands SOD. The JOT Dependents' Briefing might
very well serve as an experiment along these lines.
3. 14y next step is to sound out informally some of the people 25X1
in the Security Office for their views.
