SI W.FICA?U EMS: The first JOT Wives' Briefing conducted on 16 April. It consisted of a word of welcome from C/JOrP; 25X1 a one-hour presentation on Intelligence by the OTR Orientation Officer a half-hour presentation on Security and Cover by Mr. SO and a half-hour presentation on Occupational Medicine b-y-L_-:~ of the Medical Staff. The program 25X1 f concluded with a fifteen-minute nonage from the Director o Trang. In addition to the OJOT couples in attendance were the Director of Training, the Director of Security and FI/OPS. The program was well received by the audience. The JOT'a who were in attendance have been invited to subndt their comaeata. There will also be other consultations with the C/JOTP with a view toward further strengthening the briefing. II. OTHER ACTIVITIES: A. OM Orientation Officer (1) an 15 April the CIA Introduction was conducted for E] people. For the first time since the inception of this program in November 1951, a film was used to illustrate the intelligence process. It is the thirty-minute files produced by the Air Force during World II. It was received enthusiasticallry by this audience. Readings will continue to be taken on the training value of the film for a period of time. (3) ^ students have enrolled for Conference Leadership #5, which will begin 22 April; ^ students have enrolled for Writing Workshop #13, which will also begin 22 April. It is also probable that certain student assists and problems which require duplicating and assembling numerous forms and records will have to be omitted. The student critignes indicated that they found the course highly inforaative and professionally conducted. (2) On Tha rsday, 11 April, attended a lecture and conference at the Strategic Intelligence Schools to observe the unit of instruction on Memory Tral Mang. The presentation was well done and effective for Was, bat has no immediate application, to IS presentations. (3) On 15 April met with the Chief and Deputy Chief IS and of the Office of Conmuitcations to discuss the need of that office for a special version of 10 to be presented to Signal Center personnel.
