PERSONAL NOTE
1. with this report, I round out my first full year in
this position. It has been an interesting, challenging, and 25X1
active year year.
3. In addition, the FSO Briefing, begun in April 1956
as a two-hour program, has become a regular three-hour program
conducted here as an integral part of every Basic Foreign Service
Officer Course. Much the same briefing is now given at NSA
as an integral part of its Senior Officers Course.
4. There was a 25 per cent increase in the number of times
the CIA Introduction was given during the past year as compared
with the previous year.
