2. Other Activities:
A. Intelligence Orientation
The second week of 10 #16 dealing with the Collection, Support

and Operations phases began on 2 December.
2. Because of recent Soviet developments, several lecturers in
10 have revised their presentations. OSI speaker, pre-
sented to the class some of the charts which been used by the DCI
in briefing the special Congressioial investigating comumittee.
Lecturers from ORR and the National Indications Center have also revised
their presentations. 25X1
3. The training manual, The National Intelligence Process,
developed by the 10 staff has been printed and distributed to the students
in the current 10 course.
4? Before the presentation of the film ttForbidden Areatt
briefed the students on the major points of interest in the film such
as:
a, the similarity between the Planning Group in the film and the
IAC Watch Committee 25X1
b. intelligence "blocks" which sometimes occur
c. methods and elements of tradecraft such as penetration,
cover and sabotage.
This innovation apparently increased the value of the film considerably
as a training aid.
5. On learning that the majorit of the students in the present
course were from the DDS offices, A/D,OBI, complimented
these components on the quality of the Support Exhibit which he had
visited and which he heartily approved.

B. Review of Examination
The 10 staff met on 27 November to review the findings made by
in their analysis
of the final examination. The staff will make the most essential
changes in the examination prior to 6 December and will make a complete
revision prior to the January course.
C. Exhibits
1. The Office of Security is revising its exhibit and has agreed
to set up and dismantle its own presentation each month.
2. Approximately 55 cleared personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force,
and State will attend the Intelligence Products Exhibits on 5 December.
Students in the C.S.R. course will attend both the Support Exhibit and
the Products Exhibit. 25X1
D. Special Projects
1. I 10/C Training officer, has advised us that the
Office of Communications has decided to participate in both the IOC
and the Support Exhibit. They plan to brief the 10 staff on 0/C functions
during the next week or ten days.

The OTR seal has been placed above the center of the proscenium
arty in the R&S Auditorium.
