SUBJECT: The Proposal for f sociated Programs for CS Records Training and
the "ssociated Programs for CI Training
I was informed by that he has 25X1A9a
1. On 14 January 1965,
prepared two papers for These endorse 25X1A9a
the Associated Programs for CS Records Training and the proposal for creation
of a CI Information Support Course. The consideration of the CI Fam Course (either
shortening the Course or otherwite modifying the c ourse is held in limbo until
the resolution of the proposal for the CI Oper.tions Course.
25X1A9a 2. As regards the above, did not indic ate whether or not he
is to take action to assure staff coordination with Systems Group and with RID.
3. On the same day I talked with of Systems Group who
asked me the status of the porposals. I pointed ou that we are taking no action
at present, but that we understood that CI Staff was initiating an indorsement of
programs as indicated above. He replied that Systems Gro!~p is waiting to be
asked for formal approval, etc. I suggested that I hoped that the CI Staff
endorsement would be coordinated with Systems Group. Frank said he would look out
for it.
Conversation with RID/TRO on 13 Jan indicates that Mr.

5. In the conversation in para 1 above, also informed me t1 t 25X1A9a

time will be very careful to point out that whereas CI Staff approves of
the training proposals as outlined that initiation of the sequential training outlined
