SUBJECT Intelligence Requirements for Treasury Department
1. The attached memorandum on this subject from the
Treasury Member is circulated herewith for the information of the
Board Principals. Mr. McGinnis' memorandum reports on the
initial examination by the Secretary and senior Treasury Department
officials of the Department's needs for intelligence support. It will
be supplemented by an in depth study of longer term Treasury
Department requirements which is currently under preparation.
