I am advised by the officer in charge of the Advanced Intelligence Course, Defense Intelligence, School, that CIA will be invited to enroll three students in the September running of the course. Component Training Officers were invited, two weeks ago, to submit candidates to the Training Selection Board by 2 August. has taught Basic Psychology in the previous 'Of C sessions advises that this is the next appropriate step for those who have had the basic courses. a course in Child Psychology. who, with B. At the suggestion of A & E Staff, we will include in our George Washington University Off-Campus Program C. Identification cards are presently being distributed by the Office of Personnel to Summer Employees who will attend the 20 July session of the White House Program for Summer Em- ployees. This first session will be at the Sheraton-Park Hotel (see program attached). Two OTR Summer Employees have been selected to attend this first session as part of the Agency's quota. The session in August at the White House will be open to all. is handling the bulk of details and the levy on my help and time has been minimal. have agreed to participate in a briefing of D. All Directorates, the Office of the Inspector General and the Office of the General Counsel have been contacted and the Agency's PIO designate. I (called to say that unless OTR has objec- tions, OCR plans to sponsor in October (18 or 25) a four-day course "Evaluating Document Retrieval Systems." This is a course given by of the Center for Information Resources Inc. will contract with OCR to present this course a L e at approximately $50 a head to be paid for from OCR4 plans to schedule thirty OCR people 25X1 for these four days although he will make certain of these slots available for others if there is a demand. can 25X1 handle more than 30 and I would like to suggest to that we open the course up to general Agency participation, al- though limiting the number of employees, and handle it as Ex- ternal Training, paying for it from External Training Funds. It would be a big savings over individual enrollments at the Center for in this way we could train three to four times as many people for the same cost. F. We have received from the Civil Service Commission formal notification of the final allocation to CIA of spaces for FY-166 seminars at the Kings Point Center. The training spaces reserved for Agency use are precisely the ones we speci- fied except that we were given only two of the six slots sought in runnings of. the Seminar on Skills and Goals of Management. G. During the past several weeks has given a 25X1 large proportion of his time to work with on the 25X1 Long Range Program Plans.
