Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2009/10/30: CIA-RDP78-06096A000200030034-0 Nawl UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Memorandum TO Registrar/TR FROM : Chief, External Training Branch, RS/TR SUBJECT: Bi- Weekly Activities Report No. 11 10 May-21 May 1965 called Fort Monroe. She was informed that DATE: 24 May 1965 As we have not yet received our CONARC quota, CIA was not allocated quotas for the first half of the fiscal year. There was understandably a lot of checking done at both ends. Our memorandum requesting quotas is dated 18 December 1964, addressed to Col. A. L. Ransome, AGC. To make a long story short, they gave us the first quarter requirements by phone and will confirm the remainder by memorandum this week. Mr. Massey (Chief of Requirements) asked us not to send a confirmation memorandum. I assume that he would rather not have it go through his "front office." During the conversation was informed 25X1 that the input for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological Weapons Orientation Course will be drastically cut. Our yearly requirement is 65. The Army Management Course is being revised and will be called the Army Installation Management Course. The new course begins on 7 September for three weeks. A grade 25X1 waiver may be requested for GS-11's and GS-12's. Now -- the Station informs us that it was for medical reasons they wished the dependents to return. Dr. Tietjen wants their return as he does not feel our Medical Officer out there is qualified to make a decision in this case. The chronology of events and completeness of information leaves a lot to be desired. It is, however, clear I must again ~I?~3iu6i7 1 nu, Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2009/10/30: CIA--RDP78-06096A000200030034-0
