1. In a small c er emonyLthis mornin 25X1 A
presented the Army Commendation Medal to
Career Trainee awarded by the Army
for distinguished service in South Viet Nam in 1964. 25X1A
was a Captain in Special Forces at the time. He
entered on duty in the Career Training Program in March
1965 and began training in the Spring Class. He is presently
on interim assignment in awaiting enrollment in the
next Operations Course. He was considered by the Army to
be one of its most promising young officers, and his per-
formance to date as a Career Trainee indicates outstanding
potential.
2. Two new Career Trainees entered on duty this week:

further period of hospitalization. He appears to have made
a good recovery.
25X1A 3. is hospitalized for a short time for
minor attention to an ankle which was broken some time ago.
She expects to return to duty next week.
