1. Assignments.

b. Medical Service Officer GS-10 TSD. The Executive Secretary
25X1A9a recommended the assignment of GS-9, Medical Technician,
to this position; the Members concurred.

c. Instructor, Medical Technical Fields, GS-9, OD. Because of the
current reorganization of OD, this assignment is to be considered as a
position in OD, although not specifically by this title and grade. The
Executive Secretary recommended the assignment of 25X1A9a
GS-11, Medical Service Officer, to this position; the Board Members
concurred in this recommendation.
d. Medical Technical Assistant, GS-11, The following 25X1A6a
personnel have expressed interest in this assignment: 25X1A9a
GS-10, Medical Technical Assistant; and GS-10, Physical 25X1A9<
Requirements Officer. The Executive Secretary stated, however, that,
when this position was last considered, , GS-11, Medical 25X1A9a
Technical Assistant, expressed considerable interest and, since Mr.

future, he should be considered as the primary candidate. In the event
the position of Medical Service Officer in is established, Mr. 25X1A6a

which could be accomplished in Headquarters. Other candidates named by

The Executive Secretary reviewed a memorandum from the DD/S request-
ing nomination of candidates to be recommended for the National Civil

Service League Award. Since the Medical Staff has no candidates for
this award, the Executive Secretary was requested to so notify the
Office of the DD/S.
