ApprovcFor Release 0 ? CIA-RDP78.180A000300120016-5 WATKINS Drinking Case As Chief of the Liaison Section, you have working for you a secretary, Clara Watkins. Miss Watkins is 30 years of age, single, Grade 5, and has been at the Station for three years. She has been secretary for the Liaison Section all of the time she has be Station. She served 25X1A6A previously in 25X1A6A She has the reputa ion o being a gaou y girl in e sense enjoys parties and usually brings fun to the party. She was often accompanied by a man known to you as "Dom". In the course of the last few social occasions at which both of you were present, you noticed that she had had too much to drink. At a party the previous Saturday night at which liaison guests were present, she became unpleasantly drunk. At that time she complained loudly and bitterly about being the only single female present. In the course cf the evening she was unpleasant to several of the Station officers' wives. About 1000 this morning one of the other women in the office advised you confidentially that Miss Watkins had been drinking from a flask in the ladies room. You reported this information to the Chief of Station who told you to see what you could find out about the situation. Since Miss Watkins works for you, he asked you to recommend a. course of action. Problem: 1. Prepare to interview Miss Watkins in your office to find out more about this situation. 2. As a result of the interview and what else you know about Miss Watkins, determine what is wrong with her and whet should be done about it. Examine the medical, security and cover implications of the case. 3. Prepare for the Chief of Station's signature any cable or dispatch you feel is necessary.
