Medical Standards
1. At the request of Mr. Bannerman, I attended the Deputies
Meeting this date, at which time the referenced per was discussed.
2. It was clear at the meeting that Col. White did not think our
medical standards were too tou b. He posed no objection to employing
the 2aa icapped but e b sized the need for careful consideration
relating to our unusual security requirements.
3. In regard Proposal 2, the Deputies agreed that a board
mechanism should be established for problem cases. Mr. Bannerman
felt that a permanent fdU-t1ne board was desirable and outlined som
of his view relating to the board establishment. There was agreement
that some such boar should come into being and Mr. Bannerman was
charged with the responsibility of pulling the xM bership and functions
together.
k. Proposal 3 did not receive consideration at the meeting and
it is an item that I will be taking up separately with Mr. Bannerman.
