II. OTHER ACTIVITIES
1. The JOT's in the Intelligence Production Course
are currently being briefed by and are touring the Intel-
ligence production components of the USIB member agencies.
In connection with the Office of Naval Intelligence, the
students and faculty toured the Navy Photographic Inter-
pretation Center on 12 December. The tour provided an
"on the spot" look at the actual production process of
Naval Intelligence. Of particular interest, was the unit
working with the Tiros Satellite photography.
2. The afternoon of December 12 the students re-
ceived an excellent briefing on the new Defense Intel-
ligence Agency. The briefing was given by Air Force
an excellent briefer, and was charac-
terized by its sincerity, enthusiasm, and frankness.
The briefing was current to the extent of including the
developme he Tuesday morning staff meeting of
the DIA. is the head of the DIA Current
Intelligence and Indications Center, the only component
of DIA presently in production. The briefing was held
In the DIA's Indications center which was formerly the
Air Force Indications Center, a very impressive facility.
This was one of the finest briefings the Intellignece
Production Faculty has had to date.
