1. There are six Agency employees enrolled in FSI`s
STATSPEC two-week Area Seminars beginning 30 October: Africa
STATSPEC Sub-Sahara (CRS), Latin America - OCI), Near East
and North Africa (NPIC, -, Western Europe-Atlantic
Community (CRS). Cost for each student: $457. 00.
3. Requests for information on external training have
included:
a. Affirmative Action Planning Workshop, National
Civil Service League - Director, EEO
b. Dates for "NIPS for Personnel Management," National
Military Command System Support Center, National
Information Processing System - TSD
c. Courses for librarians - CRS
4. The completed copy of the 1972 OTR Catalog was taken
to the :Printing Services Division on Thursday, 26 October. Target
date for distribution is 17 November.

5. ORD, one of the Agency's
students in the Residential Program at the Federal Executive
Institute, hopes to participate in the Foreign Policy Workshop
which involves a three-day trip in late November. STATINTL
Permission is being requested from appropriate offices,
including the DDP/TRO, WH, CCS, OS, and ORD.
