THE COURSE WAS SUPPORTED BY I GUEST SPEAKERS FROM HEADQUARTERS. CHARGE OF THE SEMINAR, ASSISTED BY OF SIWA. (I) AOC 3-71 IS IN ITS SECOND WEEK OF THE EIGHT-WEEK SCHEDULE. THE CLASS APPEARS TO BE HARD-WORKING AND CONSCIENTIOUS, AND THE GROUPtS MORALE AND ENTHUS ARE HIGH, INSTRUCTION THUS FAR HAS BEEN PRIMARILY TECHNICAL !ARM I BUT THERE HAS ALSO BEEN CONSIDERABLE WORK DONE IN INTEL AND CRISIS REPORTING. BRIEFINGS BY TSD AND OFFICE OF MEDICAL SERVIC~LISTS ON AGENT ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUES WERE COMPLEMENTED BY AN STAFFERS DESCRIPTION OF A RECENT OPERATION WHERE THESE TECHNIQUES WERE CRITICAL. FINALLY, THE GROUP RECEIVED TWO EXCELLENT OPERATIONAL STATUS REPORTS ON NONOFFICIAL COVER AND OPERATIONS AGAINST THE (2) BOC 2-71, IN ITS FOURTH WEEK, CONTINUED TO STRESS THE DEVELOPMENT OF FINESSE IN HANDLING AGENT COMMUNICATIONS MECHANISMS (3) ASOT I IS IN ITS FIFTH WEEK; AND TRAINEES WERE PRIMARILY INVOLVED WITH RADIO COMMUNICATIONS AND A CONTINUATION OF WEAPONRY.
