Designating the Central Intelligence Agency,
Its Officers and Employees, as Excepted
from Certain Provisions of the Act to
Authorize the Training of Federal Employees
at Public or Private Facilities
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution as
President of the United States and section 4(b) of the Government
Employees Training Act, Public Law 85-507, approved July 7, 1958,
I hereby determine that exception of the Central Intelligence Agency,
its officers and employees from certain provisions of the Govern-
ment Employees Training Act is in the public interest, therefore, I
designate the Central Intelligence Agency together with its officers
and employees as excepted from the following provisions of the Act:
1. Sections 2 (4), 6, 9(b) (1) , 12, 14, 15, 16, 18 and
19(d); together with
2. The last sentence of section 5;
3. So much of section 7 as provides, "shall conform, on
or after the effective date of the regulations prescribed by the
Commission under section 6 of this Act, to the principles,
standards, and related requirements contained in such regula-
tions then current;"

4. So much of section 10 as provides, "in accordance
with regulations is sued by the Commission;" and
5. So much of section 11(c) as provides, "In accordance
with regulations of the Commission."
