We are most happy to have your nominees for the
1967-68 Naval Warfare Course. They are both highly
acceptable, and, I am looking forward to meeting them
in August.
Because the actual acceptance of nominees is done
for the Secretary of the Navy by the Chief of Naval
Personnel, I am taking the liberty of.sending a copy
of your letter to that activity for their action. They
have assured me by 'phone that they will very quickly
send you a letter accepting both candidates.
