MEMORANDUM FOR: Chairman, Training Selection Board
I addressed the student body at the Armed
Forces Staff College-today and found them keenly interested in the
Agency and the Intelligence Community in general.
I noted that, of the three Agency students in
this course, two are from the Office of Research .and Reports and
one is from the Office of Scientific Intelligence. In discussing the
course with them, they were very enthusiastic about it but indicated
that they thought there should be some representation from compo-
nents other than those engaged in the production of intelligence.
While this should certainly not be an overriding criterion, I do think
it would be worthwhile to attempt to have a balanced representation
in each course so that our students are knowledgeable of the entire
Agency rather than only a segment of it.
Would you please ensure that this point is
given appropriate consideration when selecting our representation
for this course in the future.
