SUBJECT : Withdrawal of Nomination for Senior School

1. , has been nominated as one of
the principals to attend the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the
1966-1967 session.
2. Several unanticipated organizational and personnel changes
which have occurred since ' nomination make it important
that he be withdrawn in order to fill a high priority position.
3. I note that, in addition. to the approved alternates for the
Industrial College, there are a number of senior officers who are
approved alternates for other schools. It occurs to me that in the
event the alternates named for the Industrial College are not available,
then other senior officers on the list of alternates might be selected.
If you feel there is a problem in this regard, please let me know and
I will try to find a new candidate. I believe we should fill our quota
for this and all of the other senior schools.
