I. On 13, 1k, and i5 July, an Orientation Course for Agency
officials attending senior service schools will be held in Derr 803,
iir yhltt Build1n . These Agency officials Wit be In contact with
hundreds of mi 1 t Lary officers end other goverment officials, most
of w4mm will rise to positions of responsibility and influence In
their own organizations to the next few years. They should be well
prepared to represent the Agency in the best possible manner.
1. Tice content of the course w1 t I consist of two perts:
a. The Agency organ lzattan and its functions; the Agency ?s
role in the coordination of clandestine c rations with the
military s*rvicas; the Agency's relationship with public media;
and a discussion of certain sensitive operations which have
come to the critical attention of public media.
b. Instruction in Conference Techniques, given by a of
the outstanding teachers of the subject In this area. Eff c*
ti ss in conference discussions is Important because so
my of the school programs require ex gees i ve participation
of students in small working groups.
