MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD.
SUBJECT: Language Development
A meeting of the Language Development Committee was
held on 30 April 1970 for the purpose of reviewing the first
Language Control Register (LCR) produced for the Agency in
accordance with Headquarters Regulation
STA to explain any technical question that may
arise during the meeting concerning the LCR.
The entire committee was very impressed with the LCR.'
The consensus was that the LCR was one of the best management'
tools for language development and controls that has hit the
Agency in many a year.
The committee requested that be
available in June to give a briefing and answer any questions
to the Agency administration officersithat will be using the LCR.
