IVIEMORANIDUM FOR: Morning Meeting Participants
SUBJECT: Congressional Material
The principal staff focal points on our four oversight
committees have advised us of certain conditions that apply to
our dealings with the Select Committees on executive session
material which we hold as custodians for the oversight
committees:
a. Transcripts and/or related memoranda
or copies thereof are not to be provided by the
Agency to the Select Committees;
b. The names of subcommittee members
in attendance at such briefings are not to be provided
by tt:Le Agency;
c. The subcommittees wish to be advised
before the. Agency provides comprehensive listings to
the ',elect Committees of such briefings over a
particular time period, as opposed to a specific topic
of interest to the Select Committees; and
d. In response to specific requests from the
Select Committees for information on briefings on a
specific topic, the Agency should only furnish the
identity of the subcommittee and the date(s) thereof.
