THE EXPOSURE WAS ADEQUATE AND THE RESOLUTION IS GOOD WHERE NOT DEGRADED BY WEATHER. B. 9R SIDE: MINUS DENSITY DOTS ARE NUMEROUS AND VERY WELL DEFINED INTERMITTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE MISSION. THE MOST PER- SISTENT ROW OF DOTS IS 3.4" FROM THE INBOARD EDGE AND APPEAR EACH 2.3" ALONG THE MAJOR AXIS OF THE FILM WHEN NUMEROUS ENOUGH TO FORM A PATTERN. SEVERAL ROWS OF FAINT, MINUS DENSITY STREAKS, PARALLEL TO THE FILM EDGES, ARE CONTINUOUS FROM THE FIRST THROUGH THE LAST FRAME. BEGINNING AT FRAME 153 AND APPEARING INTERMITTENTLY THEREAFTER THERE ARE TWO WAVERING PLUS DENSITY STREAKS APPROXIMATELY 1.25" AND 3.2" FROM AND PARALLEL TO THE Declassification Review by NGA/DoD Gi.. e i Exclude, W A r.... THEY VARY IN LENGTH FROM 2.0" TO SEVERAL FRAMES IN LENGTH. THERE IS A SOLID PLUS DENSITY STREAK 0.02" FROM AND PARALLEL TO THE OUTBOARD EDGE ASSOCIATED WITH OUT30ARD EDGE SCALLOPING INTERMITTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE MISSION. IT APPEARS THAT PRIOR TO PROCESSING, THE FILM WAS CREASED BY CROWDING THE OUT- BOARD EDGE CAUSING THE AFOREMENTIONED PLUS DENSITY STREAK. THERE IS A CONCENTRATION OF LONGITUDINAL SCRATCHES ALONG THE 1.5" NEAREST THE OUTBOARD EDGE THROUGHOUT THE MISSION. BEGINNING AT FRAME 379 AND APPEARING ON EACH SUBSEQUENT FRAME THERE IS AN OBSTRUCTION IN A 2.5" X 2.5" AREA IN THE TRAILING CORNER OF THE FORMAT NEAREST THE OUTBOARD EDGE. IN FRAMES SUBSEQUENT TO FRAME 504 ALL OF THE AFOREMENTIONED ANOMALIES BECOME MORE PREDO'MINANT. FRAME 627 THROUGH THE END OF THE MISSION IS SEVERELY FOGGED. THE FOGGING APPARENTLY OCCURRED DURING FIL11 UNLOADING BECAUSE HAND PRINTS ARE IMAGED IN THE FOGGED AREAS. THE POSITION INDICATOR LAMPS FUNCTION ONLY OCCASIONALLY. THE PILOT REPORTED A WARNING SIGNAL ON THIS SIDE AS THE REASON FOR ABORTING THE MISSION. THERE ARE 629 FRAMES ON THIS SIDE PLUS A SMALL PIECE OF FRAME 630. C. 9L SIDE: SKIVING ADHERING TO THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE FRAME FORMAT RESULTS IN A MINOR 03STRUCTION. THERE ARE 898 FRAMES ON THIS SIDE OF THE :FISSION. D. BOTH SIDES: THE ETE~IN IS SLIGHTLY ERRATIC THROUGHOUT THE MISSION. PROCESSING STREAKS AND PI;IHOLES ARE INTER y1ITT.E NT AND MINOR. THE NORMAL POSITION SEQUENCE IS INTERRUPTED BY TWO VERTICALS IN A ROW OF FIVE OCCASIONS (FRAMES 100, 101; 162, 163; 374, 375; 193, 194; 405, 406.) E. THERE WERE NO PROCESSING ANOMALIES. F. MISSION ABORTED AFTER 398 FRAMES ON THE 9L AND 629 FRAMES ON 9R. 3. POSITIVE: A. PI SUITABILITY IS GOOD WHERE NOT DEGRADED BY WEATHER. B. PRINTING AND PROCESSING WERE GOOD. C. CLOUDS OBSCURE OR DEGRADE APPROXIMATELY 50 PER CENT OF THIS MISSION. SCP-1.
