XOM KHE RAIL BRIDGE AT 1758N 10555E NOW APPEARS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED ONLY AS A MEANS OF SHUTTLING MATERIAL ACRO-S-S-pdvanco COPY, tiled THE KHE NET. A SMALL SHUTTLE FLAT CAR IS OBSERVED ON THE EASTERN DIP,/ '/1) APPROACH, THE RAIL ON BOTH BRIDGE APPROACHES IS NOT CONNECTED TO 25X1 THE MAIN LINE, BUT RATHER, RUNS PARALLEL. MATERIAL IS THEREFORE AUG 1966 TRANSLOADED FROM THE MAIN LINE TO THE SHUTTLE CAR FOR MOVEMENT ACROSS THE BRIDGE THEN TRANSLOADED BACK TO THE MAIN LINE. AN UNIDENTIFIED EXCAVATION CONSISTING OF A T-SHAPED HOLE IS LOCATED ON THE WESTERN APPROACH OF THE DESTROYED BRIDGE. CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES ON THE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED BY-PASS (REF A). 2. TWO CABLES WITHOUT DECKING ARE OBSERVED ON THE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED BRIDGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION (REF C) AT 181ON 10543E ON THE RAIL BY-PASS AROUND THE SERVICEABLE DONG BAI RAIL BRIDGE 4. AT LEAST SIX INTERDICTIONS ARE LOCATED ON THE RAIL SPUR WHICH EXTENDS SW FROM THE VINH/DONG HOI RAIL LINE AT 1801N 10552E NEAR ROUTE 15 BETWEEN UTM WE911924 AND WE911921. NO ATTEMPT IS BEING MADE TO BY-PASS THE CRATERS. 5. A PROBABLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS TRACE IS OBSERVED FROM ITS VISIBLE NORTHERN TERMINUS AT 1802N 10550E (UTM WE895947) SOUTHEAST, GENERALLY PARALLELING BUT WEST, OF THE ALIGNMENT OF A PREVIOUSLY REPORTED TELECOMMUNICATION LINE (REF D) ALONG THE VINH/DONG HOI RAIL LINE OT ITS VISIBLE TERMINUS AT 1800N 10554E (UTM WE953915). POLES (LAYING ON THE GROUND) ARE PERIODICALY SPACED ALONG THE TRACE; POSSIBLY INDICATING ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION ON THIS LINE.
