PREFACE
This Mission Coverage Index (MCI) represents the interpretation of aerial
photographic material made The MCI
furnishes a listing of intelligence targets covered by Mission 102. Items in
the listing are arranged by (1) WAC area, and (2) coordinates reading from south
to north and from west to east. An explanation of column headings and photo ref-
erence data used in presenting the information is contained in the appendix.
For the convenience of the user, a subject index to the intelligence targets
has been included following the listing. Targets in the subject index are listed
(1) by category, and (2) alphabetically by place name.
The user of this MCI is cautioned that the scan of photography from Mission
25X1 C _102 was accomplished in a relatively short time and often without the aid of pre-
cise analytical and mensural equipment commonly employed in detailed photographic
analysis. Consequently, although the information presented herein is essentially
accurate, future detailed analysis may somewhat alter portions of the information.

SUMMARY
Mission_102, accomplished on 22 February 1962, covered portions of
Communist China. Scattered to heavy clouds severely restrict interpretability
of much of the photography.
25X2 The coverage of the suspect mineral extraction installation is excellent.
The city of Lan-Chou appears on vertical photography of fair quality. Coverage
of Wu-Kung Airfield reveals the presence of two BADGER aircraft.
