It covers ap- proximately 790 acres and is rail served. No POL storage is observed. Borne Military Barracks No 2 Coordinates: 53-31-15N 016-29-05E (UTM33 UWV983314) BE No: none Troop capacity: not applicable No military barracks are discernible on good quality photography at the reported loca- tion of this barracks area annotated on Figure 1. Borne Military Barracks No 3 Coordinates: 53-29-10N . 016-33-30E (UTM33 UXV034275) BE No: none Troop capacity: 4,712 The latest available photographic coverage reveals changes in facilities of this installa- tion from those reported in PIR 32-59. That report designated this area Zippnow Military Barracks containing: 19 barracks with a total of 191,600 square feet of floor space 5 administration buildings with a total of 30,600 square feet of floor space 3 vehicle maintenance buildings with a total of 44,000 square feet of floor space 14 storage buildings with a total of 68,125 square feet of floor space, and 25X1 Approved For Re`s 0 2 (gRZf: cIA-RDP78B0456gJe4,000010027-8 NPIC/R-385/63 Approved F;Ieaag 25X1 D 7 support buildings with a total of 15,350 square feet of floor space. Buildings not reported in PIR 32-59 in- clude four two-story barracks, each 110 by 50 feet, with a total of 44,000 square feet of floor space, and three one-story storage build- ings, each 125 by 35 feet, a total of 13,125 square feet of floor space. One of the two sup- port buildings mentioned in Item 4 of PIR 32-59 has been dismantled. No ammunition or POL storage observed. Borne Maneuver Area Coordinates: 53-32-40N 016-35-10E (UTM33 UXV050340) Troop capacity: not applicable This installation, designated as Grossborn Training Area in PIR 32-59, covers approxi- mately 37,000 acres and contains five tank fir- ing ranges, several small arms ranges, vehicle driver training courses, a bombing target range, and a serviceable sod runway. Numerous anti- aircraft and field artillery emplacements are evident. This training area appears to be ac- tive as indicated by the extent of track activity visible throughout the area.
