'I his report is a partial answer to DIA re-
quirement DIAXX 63-84, to verify the location
of selected military installations in Hungary,
and to perform a photo analysis of these in-
stallations to determine function, number and
dimensions of buildings, to estimate troop ca-
pacity, to identify and describe related training
areas and facilities, and to confirm or negate am -
munition and POL storage. This report covers
six selected installations in the Szolnok area.

of Szolnok Army Barracks Past No 22.
The five barracks areas described in this
report (and keyed to Figure 1) contain 824, 950
square feet of floor space, giving a total es-
timated troop capacity of 16,499.*
A. Szolnok Army Barracks No 3 and 4
2 three-story barracks buildings, each 155
by 55 feet
4 two-story barracks buildings, two 155
by 55 feet each, one 120 by 55, and one
55 by 20 feet
l one-story barracks building 100 by 55
feet, a total for the ten buildings of
252,550 square feet of floor space
I H-shaped administration building, three
stories 300 by 55, two stories 90 by 70,
and one story 220 by 45 feet, a total
of 72,000 square feet

approximately 1.5 nautical miles northwest of
Szolnok, covers 62 acres and contains:
2 four-story barracks buildings, each 245
by 50 feet
I four-story, U-shaped barracks building,
the central section 100 by 55 feet, and
the wings each 60 by 55 feet**

3 four-story barracks buildings, 140by70,
140 by 55, and 105 by 70 feet
3 one-story barracks buildings, each 135
by 35 feet
4 one-story barracks buildings, each 125

7 two-story possible officers' quarters,
each 115 by 40 feet
I two-story, L-shaped possible officers'
quarters, one section 110 by 45, and
the other section 70 by 45 feet, a total
for the 24 buildings of 235,450 square

150 by 55, and 140 by 55 feet
