This report is a partial answer to llIA re-
quirement DIA-AP1-63-88, to verify or pin-
point the location of Soviet military garrisons
in Poland a.nd to perform a photo analysis to
determine boundaries of the installations, to
determine function, number and dimensions of
buildings, to estimate troop capacity, and to
identify and describe related training areas and
facilities and ammunition or POL storage.
This report is a supplement to YIR 32-591/
which was based on TALENT photography. "TAL-
ENT photography was also used to compile this
report. In addition, the best available KEYI-IDLE
photography was used to determine changes in
the installation and to compute dimensions of
Szczecinek Barracks No 1 (not annotated in
1~igure 1)

served at the above coordinates. "Phis area is
in the southwest section of Szczecinek railroad
yards and shops.

Military Barracks No 1 containing:
7 barracks with a total of 105,600 square
feet of floor space
5 administration buildings with a total of
29,800 square feet of floor space
4 storage buildings with a total of 45,875
square feet of floor space
2 support buildings with a total of 4,550
square feet of floor space
1 building (function undetermined) with a
total of 1,250 square feet of floor space
1 maintenance building with a total of 7,425
square feet of floor space, and
1 U-shaped storage/maintenance building
with a total of 78,000 square feet of
floor space.
1'he latest available photographic coverage
reveals that:
1 one-story storage building 200 by 65 feet,
a total of 13,000 square feet of floor
space, has been constructed, and
3 buildings (designated 16, 17 and 18 in
PIR 32-59) have been dismantled.
No associated training areas, facilities,
ammunition or YOL storage are observed.
*Troop capacity is compuCed on a basis of 50 square feet
of vpacc per tnan.
