This report is a partial answer to DIA re-
quirement DIA-AP1-63-88, to verify or pin-
point the location of Soviet military garrisons
in Poland and to perform a photo analysis to
determine boundaries of the installations, to
determine function, number and dimensions of
buildings, to estimate troop capacity, and to
identify and describe related training areas and
facilities and ammunition or POL storage.
This report is a supplement to PIR 32-591/
which was based on TALENT photography. TAL-
ENT photography was also used to compile this
report. In addition, the best available KEYHOLE
photography was used to search for changes in
the installation since the last TALENT coverage.

*Troop capacity is computed on a basis of 50 square feet
of space per man.
reveals no apparent change in facilities from
PIR 32-59 which designated this installation
Ohlau Military Barracks Southeast containing:
14 barracks buildings with a total of 170,200
square feet of floor space
2 administration buildings with a total of
33,400 square feet of floor space
2 storage buildings with a total of 4,200
square feet of floor space
2 buildings (function undetermined) with a
total of 4,925 square feet of floor space,
and
I associated athletic field northeast of the
barracks area.
Ammunition Storage Area
An associated ammunition storage area, not
reported in PIR 32-59, located several hundred
yards southeast of the barracks area, covers
27 acres and contains one large probable building
and 5 probable bunkers. Poor quality photog-
raphy precludes mensuration of the building or
the bunkers.
No associated training areas, facilities, or
POL storage are observed.
