A completed Krug antenna and its support
area have been located 7.5 nm south-southwest
of Yakutsk. The Krug consists of a 390-foot-
diameter antenna-reflector circle, a 780-foot-
diameter intermediate circle, and an outer
circular fence 990 feet in diameter. The typical
60- by 40-foot central building is present, as
is the usual small building at the fence entrance.
In addition, near the outer fence there are
three unidentified objects and a probable shed.
The support area is fenced, measures 1,200
by 520 feet, and is situated 6,500 feet south-
southeast of the Krug. It contains 14 buildings:
the two largest are two-storied and measure
140 by 60 feet, and another appears to be
approximately three stories high. In addition
to the buildings, there are three possible
communications vehicles/vans and an unidenti-
fied object within the fence.
