SAM INSTALLATIONS IDENTIFIED ON
This report has been prepared in response
to CIA requirement C-RR4-81,204, requesting
information on surface-to-air missile (SAM)
installations newly identified on photography
from

on which this report is based), 4 SAM instal-
lations had been identified on this coverage. They
consist of 2 SA-2 SAM sites and 2 SAM support
facilities in the USSR (Figure 1). No SA-3
SAM sites were identified on the mission.
The four installations are of standard size,
and configurations and types appear normal.
